Tragedy struck in Jajpur district of Odisha as a bus en route from Puri to Kolkata veered off a flyover, resulting in a fatal accident.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on the Barabati bridge of National Highway-16. The bus, carrying 50 passengers, met with misfortune when the flyover collapsed, leading to the devastating crash.Rescue efforts were swiftly initiated by local authorities as police teams rushed to the scene to provide relief and assist in the rescue operations.
The injured victims were promptly transported to the nearest hospital for medical treatment, while the deceased were identified, and their families notified.
